Quandri's Year in Review

Dive into Quandri’s 2025 year in review for a look at the milestones that defined our journey and the industry predictions shaping what’s next for AI in insurance.
A year of big challenges, and bigger wins
Like most years building a company, 2025 was hard but also amazing. And while there were many big challenges that tested us, it was the most exciting and rewarding year at Quandri yet. Insurance brokers and agents want better solutions to their problems; they want them now, and they want them to be AI. The hardest thing to get right in business (and in life) is timing, and the timing right now couldn’t be better. This creates an opportunity for transformation that the industry hasn’t seen in years. And for once, agents are in the driver’s seat, pushing for this change.
Industry trends & predictions
While reflecting on the year, I wanted to share a few things that stood out and some predictions on where these trends will go in 2026.
AI is about to become foundational, not just an add-on
Most, but not all, agencies are currently deploying AI in an incremental way to improve their business. 2026 is the year that AI goes from being incremental in how agencies operate to becoming a foundational part of the service experience. Agencies will have some time to figure this out, but the ones that move fast will reap the rewards of faster growth and higher margins.
Not all AI is created equal
There are more AI companies than ever, but very few that have a strong opinion on how to truly transform an insurance agency with AI. It’s easy to throw an LLM at an insurance problem because there are lots of PDFs and text — and LLMs are good at this. What’s difficult is transforming a workflow and people’s behaviour. The AI companies that don’t invest here and stay on the surface will go the way of the dodo bird as brokerages and agencies demand a higher standard.
The future belongs to integrated platforms
Most AI in insurance is not vertical specific, meaning it doesn’t deeply understand insurance. The ones that do are typically point solutions, solving one or two use cases. The companies that win will be the ones that can successfully transition from a point solution to the AI platform that underpins the agency. These companies will emerge in 2026. Game on.
Quandri’s 2025 highlights
With that, here are a few highlights from Quandri in 2025:
Listening and learning on the road
We travelled over 50,000 kilometers — 30,000 miles for our American friends — visiting insurance brokers and agents across North America. That meant stops in 20 different states and provinces, and 30 different cities along the way. Meeting face to face is still the best way to understand what agents need and how we can deliver real solutions.

Expanding our product suite
This year, we took a big leap forward in how we help agencies and brokerages communicate and serve their clients. We rolled out Connect, our AI-driven renewal communications solution, to customers across North America. Adoption was incredible. Agencies and brokerages embraced Connect as a new way to deliver personalized, proactive outreach to their clients, proving that AI-powered client communication can drive real loyalty and retention.
Alongside that momentum, we launched US Policy Requoting in Q4, our newest capability and a major step forward for the platform.
These additions mark an important step in how we support our customers and the work they do every day.
Building with AI at our core
We transformed the product with AI this year. All new products were built with AI at their core, and AI now underpins all of our product capabilities, which means better and faster results for agencies and brokerages, and a faster pace for Quandri.
Recognition and industry impact
We won 8 awards throughout the year, recognizing our growth and the innovation we’re delivering to the insurance industry, including (but not limited to): Deloitte Tech Fast 50, LinkedIn Top Startups, Globe and Mail Top Growing Companies, and CB Insights Insurtech 50 and Fintech 100.
Fueling growth
We raised $12M USD in Series A2 funding and brought on two excellent partners, Intact Ventures and Framework. Our US business grew by 7X, showing just how much demand exists in this market and proving that Quandri is a solution agencies need to have. And with that growth, we doubled our team size, welcoming some truly talented individuals who are ready to help us solve the biggest challenges insurance brokers face.

Something special on the home front
On a personal note, I added “dad” to my title. Probably my biggest achievement of the year.

What’s next
The best is yet to come. We built the foundation in 2025 and now comes the scale. Next year is all about more: More growth. More impact. More problems solved for agencies and brokerages across North America.
We’re expanding the footprint of what’s possible and going deeper into the workflows that drive insurance. Every step forward is rooted in what we’ve learned side by side with our customers.
To our agency and broker partners: thank you. Your trust, feedback, and willingness to move fast have been critical. You’ve stood beside us through challenges, pushing for real transformation. And we’re making it happen together.
